For the World Brand Design Society Awards, a professional institution that recognizes, promotes, and rewards creative companies in the fields of corporate and consumer brand design, we created a distinctive entry for National Geographic using their logo as the central element. The commission was to create a striking introduction for the National Geographic brand that reflected its values and effectively promoted the brand.
The result was a deep analysis of National Geographic's brand values and the creation of a creative 3D motion graphics approach for its logo. A narrative was developed that provided conceptual depth to the logo, attributing values related to nature and materials, strengthening the company's connection to the natural world. Visually, 3D modeling and animation were used to bring the National Geographic logo to life while remaining consistent with the aforementioned values.
